Attaching jaw to full body mask

To attache the jaw I used these springs I found on a trip to splot beach.

I tested out how they might sit by tieing them on with wire first

Once I was happy with their position I attached the spring to the jaw by inserting it into the chicken wire and using wire to keep it in place.

I then put a layer of paper mache and gum tape to keep it in place.

I attached a elastic band from the tents to the end of each spring using wire.

I then drilled a hole in the corner of the mouth to insert the spring through. I reinforced this by paper maching and gum taping a washer on the inside of the hole.

Next I made hooks from wire for the jaw to be held on. I actually found this wire whilst walking around Cardiff. The curved shapes at the top act as anchors to grip top the paper mache.

To reinforce this i again used a layer of gum tap.

Now the jaw was ready to be scrimed to finish
