Large scale mask construction

I started by covering the chicken wire structure with cling film to make a good base and will ensure the chicken wire can be removed later.

I drew a spiral shape on a piece of paper as a template for the forehead motif.

I taped this to a the head to trace the shape with paper.

I then drew a spiral motif on the forehead to plan where the mesh will go to look through when worn

 

I then continued to cover the the shape around this in paper mache.
