I decided to make a maquette out of wire as i felt it simulated willow well, in that you weave it in a similar fashion. I started by making the balls by forming the wire around a marble.
I then twisted multiple strands of wire together to to create the stem and made 3 legs at the bottom for it to support its self. then i attached them together.
