Week 3 of field and we were taught how to make pinhole cameras. In groups we were set the task or creating a 360 degree picture. I had never made a pinhole camera before and it proved far more challenging than I expected. We started out using large cardboard boxes, painting the insides and using tape to seal them and keep them as dark as possible as we wanted a fairly large image. However the boxes just weren’t light proof enough so we ended up making tiny pictures from film canisters. Using a bin and tape markers to keep the position the same we took multiple images in 360 of the surroundings and our outcomes were very successful!
